Shoe boxes
Any shoe boxes lying around the house?? or boxes of similar size to shoe boxes? please send them to school :) :)
Help needed :)
Hi all,
If you have any old t-shirts lying around home that you wouldn't mind us reusing could you please send them into Habitat 5... I would like to make reusable bags with the students to use instead of plastic bags as plastic has been a problem a lot of the students are wanting to reduce.
Please note that our learning group will be singing in assembly this Friday. I'm sure they have been singing the songs at home... I know they have been stuck in my head all weekend :)

Week 5 term 4 2016
Morning all,
Wow this term is flying...
Please remember that we have child led conferences coming up tomorrow where your child will get the chance to share their learning with you :)
We are currently collecting donations every morning outside our Habitat to raise money for World Vision. The children are very excited about this and giving back to people who need it most in our world :) Please spread the word so we can raise as much money as possible :) :)
Have a great rest of your week :)

Week 1 Term 4
Wow this week has gone so fast!!!
We have had a great week back at school.
This week during shared reading we have been detectives. We have needed to solve two tricky cases. We have followed maps, cracked codes, we have solved tricky clues and had to get through a maze. We worked together using detective notepads to write down clues that led us to solve the cases.
We had heaps of fun acting this out and solving the cases...
We have had Life Education with Harold the Giraffe... We learnt about the difference between little problems and big problems. Problems we can solve on our own and problems that we need an adult for. We learnt about empathy and how to care for others.
We have one more session next Tuesday :)
We have been learning to write persuasive texts to persuade Mrs Farrow that we deserve an I CARE award.
Here are pictures of Jun and Kourtneay who were awarded certificates this morning :)
