Habitat 5 have been busy creating art work with Mrs Webster for the hall today :)
I have been completing reading assessments. I am so happy with the improvement that has been made :) the children are very excited about their progress and about moving up levels :)
They will be bringing books home that may be a little longer and a little more challenging. I have said to them that they are able to read these books over a few nights or get you to help them by them reading a page and then you reading a page.
It would be a great help if you could ask them comprehension questions about the book once they have read so we can make sure they are understanding what they have read :)
Please remember that it is our class Museum trip on Wednesday this week. A notice will be coming home to remind the children. They will still need to be in school uniform. It would be a great help if they could pack a smaller bag for the day that only has their lunch and a drink bottle. They wont need their book bag on this day. There is not much storage space at the Museum for all of their bags and they are unable to carry them around the museum with them so the smaller the bag the better :)
During week 10 and 11 of this term we will be having feedback to parent interviews. This is a 10 minute interview to discuss where your child is at, their next learning steps and how you can help them at home. Within the next couple of weeks I will contact you to discuss a time that suits you for this interview :)
