Joshua wrote a recount about his weekend...
On Sunday the Marae was helping people that live in their cars. But they were running out of stuff!. So we gave them some warm clothes, blankets, towels, toys, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap. We were showing awhi (support). There were a lot of families.

The children wrote stories about who their Tuakana (person they look up to) is.
Here are some of them reading their stories.
Just a reminder that there is Subway lunch on Friday. A notice went home last week and there are spare ones in the class if your child would like Subway :) The last day for orders is Wednesday.
There is a PJ mufti day at school this Friday :)
The letter we are focusing on is j. They will have a handwriting sheet glued into their homelink books. If you could encourage your children to work on forming the letter j correctly :)
Here is Riley's story...
I went to the Museum. I saw dinosaur bones and volcanoes. It was fun! I sighed when it was time to go because it was time to go to bed! I had FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!
